I've been looking at a lot of Scott C stuff lately, I like the way he is able to maintain roughness and fun in his illustrations. I decided to try applying this to my own work with my latest character design assignment, Little Red Riding Hood.

Alice in Hipsterland
We had a visit from a guy working at disney and he brought some the brushes he uses in his work. I just had to try them out. These are part of a little project i want to work on when i want to take a break. It's called alice in hipster land.

Update: Back to school and ready for the last year on earth
Well I am back and hitting the ground running as I get started on my LAST SEMESTER at Calarts. I got a lot done in the past couple days so there is a lot to update you on.
It is my goal to have some form of employment by the time I graduate and I have already completed the first step towards that: assembling a reel. I worked for a couple hours yesterday and was able to put together this:
I have also been busy trying to get caught up on my film. I tackled the first scene and got it all textured check it out!
And I started life drawing again today:
